VANI-T does not participate in animal testing. We never have or never would test our ingredients, formulas or finished products on our furry friends.

Our entire range of tanning and makeup is vegan friendly and does not contain any animal ingredients or by products such as beeswax, lanolin, etc. However, our Lumiere Collagen Beauty Peptides and Beauty Mist are not suitable for vegans. 

Yes they are, however if you experience any allergies or sensitivities we always advise a patch test first as precaution. 

It is a certification process for producers of organic products. Requirements vary from country to country, and generally involve a set of production standards for growing, storage, processing, packaging and shipping that include: Avoidance of most synthetic chemical inputs, use of farmland that has been free from chemicals for a number of years, keeping detailed written production and sales records, physical separation of organic products from non-certified products to name a few.

VANI-T products as a whole are not certified organic however they are rich in natural and organic ingredients, and high in vitamins, actives, luscious natural oils and pure botanicals. Some of the ingredients used in our products are however certified organic such as Aloe Vera, plant oils and actives. When formulating products, VANI-T is extremely cautious of what ingredients are used without compromising the quality, feel and effectiveness. VANI-T would never use ingredients that are known to cause harm, and where possible they are required to be organic or naturally derived.

All VANI-T products contain/use ingredients that are sourced from sustainable and renewable resources wherever possible. Our raw material manufacturers have a “sustainability policy” in place, and this covers materials sourced from natural sources. They advise any palm oil used in products is sourced from members of RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil).

None of our products contain nano particles. These tend to be used in sunscreen where zinc is very finely ground so that it appears "invisible" on the skin. Ours on the contrary are larger particles to give the coverage needed in a foundation.

Research does not show any dangers to pregnant women. However, as a precaution we suggest checking with your doctor especially in the first trimester.

Our tan is made with a high content of naturally derived ingredients, so you shouldn't break out. However if you have sensitive skin our alternative option would be to use our Glow+ Self Tan Drops. Just mix with your moisturiser, serum or oil and apply evenly to the face.

Our tans can last up to 10 days when used in conjunction with daily application of our Bronzing Custard and hydrating your skin.

We recommend to moisturise every day after your tan has been washed off. To extend your tan even longer, we suggest to add our Bronzing Custard on top. This acts as a tan extender, body moisturiser and a gradual tanner, all in 1.

All of our tans develop in 1-2 hours for a light tan, 2-4 hours for a medium tan, 4-6 hours for dark tan and 6+ hours for an ultra-dark tan. The longer you leave it on, the darker your tan will be, so our tans are fully customisable.

Due to the confidential nature of our formulations, we can’t disclose the exact level of DHA in our products. However, our entire range of tanning products are of professional standards.

Our Skin Perfector HD Serum Foundation instantly gives a smooth, pore-diffusing finish that easily builds to medium to full coverage. If you prefer sheer coverage, you can mix with your moisturiser to offer coverage similar to a BB cream. It can also be used for spot concealing by pressing the foundation directly onto the area you wish to conceal.

Due to variances in mineral oxides mined from different locations, minor colour variations may be noted from batch to batch and are beyond our control. Generally, it takes 27-42 days for the skin to renew itself (the newest formed cells to reach the top). This process slows down as we age. This means it will likely take at least one month before you start to notice any differences, although our customers often notice a difference much sooner.

Lumiere has zero taste or odour, unlike marine collagen which often has a slight ‘fishy’ taste or odour.
